"I started my fostering journey with Liberty foster care nine years ago. I can honestly say that we were so supported during the assessment process from start to finish. No questions went unanswered or were deemed a silly question. This made the process so much less daunting as we prepared for panel. Once approved we were carefully matched with our first young person. Again, we were so well supported through all the times when we needed to be reassured we were giving the best support for the young people in our care. Through regular supervision any training needs were highlighted and addressed in a timely manner. Liberty foster care are a genuine, caring and supportive agency who highly respect and value their carers. The ethos of Liberty is to provide the very best therapeutic care for children who have often suffered from trauma and or neglect. Every new foster carer is matched with an experienced foster carer. This offers an additional ‘safety net’ giving the agency a real family feel. I cannot recommend Liberty Foster Care enough. Yes at times it’s tough but also extremely rewarding seeing the difference we make as we watch our young people flourish."
