"We were foster carers with To The Moon and Back for 4 years and had a really positive experience the whole way through. It’s a smaller agency which we really liked, as you get to know everyone properly and build really good relationships with the team. During our time, we cared for a range of children from babies through to teenagers, and always felt well supported. The team are very child-centred in their approach and you can see how much they genuinely care about the children they work with. We fostered as a couple alongside having our own two children, and it worked really well for us as a family. We felt supported, listened to and learnt a lot about the social care side along the way. There was regular training, as well as events and support groups, which made you feel part of a community rather than on your own.
