Our primary aim is to assess, recruit and train foster carers who can provide stable, nurturing and therapeutic placements for local children. We recognise the skill, dedication and professionalism of our foster carers and as such we aim to provide excellent one to one support, peer support, training opportunities, allowances and fees. We work in a therapeutic way, utilising models of therapeutic parenting and offering this as a grounding for our foster carers. The Secure Base Model underpins our assessment process and continued support for foster carers, children and young people. As an agency we are reflective, inclusive and aspirational for our foster carers and the children and young people they care for.
