About This Agency
The Fostering Service is part of Gateshead Council and its overall aim is to safeguard and promote the welfare, safety and individual needs of looked after children through the provision of high quality fostering placements. A number of children across Gateshead are in need of a temporary or permanent home and we recruit foster carers to provide these homes. If you live within a 20 mile radius, are aged over 21, have a spare room in your home and are interested in finding out more about fostering in your local community then contact us today.
